Terms of Service

Last updated October 29, 2026 · Also see our Privacy Policy

Please read carefully. This website is for adults aged 18 and older. Free downloads are for personal, home, and classroom use only. Section 22 contains a BINDING ARBITRATION AGREEMENT and a CLASS ACTION WAIVER that affect your legal rights.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding legal agreement between you and Sandra Parks (“Sandra,” “we,” “us,” and “our”), the author who operates the website at sandraparks.com and all related pages, features, downloads, emails, and services (collectively, the “Site”). “You” means the person using the Site. By accessing or using the Site, joining Millie’s mailing list, downloading anything from the Site, or submitting anything to us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Who May Use the Site: Adults Only (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to join the mailing list, download anything from the Site, or submit anything to us. The Site is written for parents, grandparents, guardians, teachers, and librarians. Our sign-up forms require you to confirm that you are 18 or older before they will submit, and if you do not confirm it, we collect nothing from you. A parent, guardian, or teacher aged 18 or older may download printables and share them with the children in their care, under Section 7.

By using the Site you represent that you are at least 18 years old, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that the information you provide to us is accurate. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a person under 18 has given us personal information, tell us and we will delete it (see our Privacy Policy).

Anyone, anywhere, is welcome to visit the Site. We operate from the United States, and we make no representation that the Site is appropriate or lawful in any particular place outside the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and you are responsible for following your local laws.

3. What the Site Offers

The Site provides information about Sandra Parks and her children’s books, including Millie Millsack’s Dream Closet; free printable activity books, coloring pages, and paper dolls; a mailing list with news about Millie, Rubie, and Sandra’s books; and a way to contact us. In these Terms, a “Download” means any free printable or other file we provide through the Site or by email. We may add, change, or remove any part of the Site or any Download at any time, without notice, and nothing in these Terms promises that any Download, offer, or feature will be free, will continue to be offered, or will exist at all.

4. The Site Is Entertainment and Fiction

Millie Millsack, Rubie, and the other characters, names, places, and stories on the Site are fictional. The books, printables, and the Site are intended to entertain and to encourage creativity, kindness, and confidence in children. Nothing on the Site is a statement of fact, and nothing on the Site is medical, educational-assessment, psychological, financial, or legal advice.

5. Some of Our Artwork Is Made With AI-Assisted Tools

We tell you this plainly because you should know. Some of the artwork in our free printables and on the Site, including activity-book illustrations, coloring pages, and paper-doll designs, is created with the help of AI-assisted image tools and then selected, edited, arranged, and finished by us. The characters, names, and stories are Sandra’s own. Nothing generated or assisted this way is a depiction of a real person.

6. Email and the Newsletter

When you sign up, our form tells you plainly that signing up gives you the Download and also puts you on Sandra’s email list. By submitting the form, you agree to receive emails from Sandra Parks at the address you gave us, which may include a welcome series, more free printables, and news about the books. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and it works. You may also write to us and we will remove you promptly. We may still send non-marketing messages needed to answer a request you made or to resolve a problem with a Download. Unsubscribing does not affect anything you have already downloaded. We do not send text messages. Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree to give us only your own email address, and not to sign up another person, or a child, without that person’s knowledge.

7. Free Downloads and Printables: Your License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and print Downloads for personal, home, and classroom use only. This means you may print as many copies as you need for your own family, or for the students in your own classroom or library program, and children in your care may color, cut, play with, and keep them.

You may not: sell, rent, license, or trade any Download or any copy of it; give Downloads away as your own or remove our name, characters, or credits; post, share, or upload the files to any website, social-media group, file-sharing site, marketplace, cloud-drive link, teacher-resource site, or app; include them in any product, course, bundle, subscription box, party kit, or paid event; print them in bulk to hand out to the public or to customers; use them for any commercial purpose; edit or alter them to create your own versions; or use the characters or artwork in anything you publish, print, or sell. A teacher may share printed copies with the students in that teacher’s own class, but may not post or forward the files. Please share the link to the Site instead of the files, so that others can sign up for their own copies.

The license ends automatically if you breach these Terms. We may change, replace, or withdraw any Download at any time.

8. Safety With Printables and Craft Supplies

Printables, activity books, and paper dolls are for fun and learning. Children should be supervised by an adult when using scissors, crayons, markers, pencils, glue, glitter, and other supplies. Paper dolls and their clothing contain small cut-out pieces that can be a choking hazard for very young children, and should be kept away from children under three and from pets. Printing, cutting, and crafting are done at your own risk, and you are responsible for the supervision and safety of the children in your care and for using age-appropriate supplies. Check that you have enough paper and ink, and test your printer before printing large files.

9. Books and Products Sold Through Other Stores

Sandra’s books and any other products may be sold through third-party platforms and stores, such as online marketplaces and booksellers. Where you buy through one of those, your purchase contract is with that seller, not with us, and that seller’s terms, pricing, payment handling, shipping, and return and refund policies govern the sale. We are not responsible for a third party’s service, availability, or conduct.

The Site does not currently sell products directly. If we begin to, the product’s page and checkout will state the price, what is included, how it is delivered, and any terms particular to that product, and those terms will form part of these Terms for that sale. Unless that page says otherwise: prices are in U.S. dollars; digital files are delivered by download or email and, because a file can be used in full the moment it arrives, digital sales are final once delivery begins, except that if a file is faulty, corrupt, or not what was described we will fix it, replace it, or refund it; and physical items may be returned within 30 days of delivery if unused and in original condition. Payments would be processed by a third-party payment processor, and we would not receive or store your full card number.

10. Ownership of Site Content

All content on the Site and in our Downloads — including the books, text, stories, artwork, illustrations, characters (including Millie Millsack and Rubie), names, titles, logos, graphics, designs, and trademarks — is owned by or licensed to Sandra Parks and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership or intellectual-property right to you. Downloading a file gives you a copy for the limited use in Section 7, and nothing more.

You may not copy for redistribution, reproduce commercially, distribute, modify, publish, display publicly, perform, sell, license, scrape, or data-mine the Site’s content, you may not create derivative works from it, and you may not use it to train any machine-learning or artificial-intelligence system, without our prior written permission. Using our characters, artwork, or titles to publish, sell, or promote your own coloring books, activity books, paper dolls, or other products, including through print-on-demand and online marketplaces, is strictly prohibited. We may ask a platform to remove infringing material and may take legal action to enforce our rights.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Site for anything unlawful or prohibited by these Terms; misuse, damage, disable, overload, or interfere with the Site or its security; attempt unauthorized access to any system, account, or data; introduce viruses or harmful code; use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Site or to sign up, except standard search indexing; submit false, misleading, or another person’s information; impersonate anyone; harass, threaten, or harm others; infringe anyone’s rights; or try to obtain materials or information in a way we did not intentionally make available. We may investigate and take any action we consider appropriate, including removing content and suspending or ending your access.

12. Messages, Feedback, and Submissions

If you send us a message, question, idea, story, drawing, photograph, review, or other material (“Submissions”), you keep whatever rights you have in it, and you grant Sandra Parks a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display it in connection with the Site and her books and their promotion, with no payment to you. You promise that the Submission is yours to send, that it does not infringe anyone’s rights, and that it contains nothing unlawful, harmful, or obscene. Please do not send us anyone else’s work, and do not send us photographs or personal information about children. Submissions are not confidential, we owe you nothing in respect of an idea you send us, and we remain free to develop anything similar independently. We may refuse, edit, or remove any Submission at any time. We will not use your full name or likeness in advertising without asking you first.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site relies on and links to third-party services, including our website and email platform (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector), our email delivery and mailbox providers, Cloudflare, Google Fonts, and the stores and booksellers that carry the books. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, their content, availability, security, or privacy practices, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms and policies. A link is not an endorsement.

14. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice through our contact form or to [email protected] that includes: your contact information; identification of the copyrighted work; identification and location of the allegedly infringing material; a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act; and your signature. We may remove material and end the access of repeat infringers.

15. Accessibility

We want the Site and our Downloads to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, and we work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target standard. Accessibility is an ongoing effort and some content may not yet be fully conformant. If you have difficulty using any part of the Site or a Download, or need content in a different format, tell us through our contact form and we will work in good faith to help.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site, all Downloads, the emails, and all content and features are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and security. We do not warrant that the Site or any Download will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that files will print correctly on your equipment, or that files will be free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the Site and Downloads at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sandra Parks and her representatives, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, any Download, the emails, or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility. Without limiting that, we are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss arising from the use of a printable, craft supply, or paper doll; for any failure of a third-party service, store, or platform; or for the conduct of any other person.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Site, any Download, or these Terms will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Because Downloads are free, the amount you paid for them is zero. Some places do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sandra Parks and her representatives, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, any Submission you make, any information you provide us, your violation of these Terms or any law, or your infringement of any third party’s rights.

19. Suspension and Termination

We may refuse, suspend, or end your access to the Site, the mailing list, or any Download at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including any violation of these Terms or any sign-up that we reasonably believe was made falsely, by automated means, or by a person under 18. You may stop using the Site and unsubscribe at any time. On termination, the license in Section 7 ends and you must stop using and delete or destroy any copies of Downloads that you are not entitled to keep. Sections that by their nature should continue — including Sections 4, 7, 10, 12, and 16 through 24 — survive.

20. Changes to the Site and to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version and updating the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice, such as by email or a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We may also change, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any part of it at any time.

21. Electronic Communications

Visiting the Site, joining the list, or emailing us is an electronic communication. You consent to receive notices and messages from us electronically, and you agree that they satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing.

22. Binding Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

Informal resolution first. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us and give us 30 days to try to resolve the matter informally.

Agreement to arbitrate. You and we agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Site, any Download, these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or our relationship (a “Dispute”) will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except as provided below. This agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.

How arbitration works. The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration may be conducted by telephone, video, or written submissions, or in person in the county where you live. The arbitrator decides all issues, except that a court may decide whether the class action waiver below is enforceable.

Class action and jury waiver. You and we agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and NOT as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims or preside over any class or representative proceeding. YOU AND WE WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual-property rights.

30-day right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days after you first accept these Terms by telling us through the contact form or at [email protected], giving your name and a statement that you opt out of arbitration. If you opt out, Section 23 governs your Disputes. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.

Survival. This Section survives termination of your relationship with us.

23. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any Dispute are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For any matter not subject to arbitration, you and we consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Alabama. Nothing in this Section removes any protection given to you by the mandatory law of the place where you live that cannot be excluded by agreement.

24. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any product-specific terms we publish for a particular sale or promotion, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site and replace any earlier agreement about it. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will stay in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them, including in connection with a merger, sale of assets, or reorganization. No partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship is created between you and us. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Section headings are for convenience only.

25. Contact

The fastest way to reach us is the contact form. You can also write to [email protected]. For privacy matters, see our Privacy Policy.
