Why I write for kids
Ask an adult how an outfit looks and you get a polite answer. Ask a child and you get the truth, usually delivered with a smile and zero filter. That honesty is one reason I write for children.
Kids are creative. They dream big. They have no boundaries when it comes to imagination. And they remind the rest of us how to behave.
A little about me
I'm from a small town in Alabama. I love learning inside the classroom and out, and I'm happiest at home with a good story and a little nature. Writing began as something fun, creative, and a challenge. It turned into something I can't put down.
I'm thoughtful, a little witty, and very grateful you're here. My books read the same way.
What I want most is for Millie's books to be read, loved, and never left sitting on a shelf.
